Frost Productions is a full-service production company, producing special events based in the NYC area. We are seeking an experienced, ambitious and outgoing Account Manager to join our Sales team on a full-time basis.

The Account Manager will manage the business relationships of assigned clients by working with them to identify and achieve the specific needs of their events, collaborating with our internal teams and external vendors to execute their events, and ensuring a smooth sales process throughout the entire cycle of their events.

Salary Range: $75,000 +; commensurate with experience.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Attend client meetings and walkthroughs of job sites.
  • Determine budgetary limitations and potentials, and produce sales proposals accordingly.
  • Collaborate with our internal teams to create budgets, design solutions, and produce events. Our internal teams include: Production (lighting, audio, video & décor) + Operations (scheduling, insurance, permits, rentals & purchasing) + Warehouse (equipment, transportation and logistics).
  • Coordinate with external vendors, designers, producers and venue staff to ensure that all necessary parties are communicating and working together to execute flawless events.
  • Attend events to handle client relations and ensure that all the necessary pieces come together so our client’s needs are met, and they are satisfied with the services we have provided.
  • Attend Sales meetings to discuss upcoming work, past events, industry trends, etc., and collaborate as a member of the team to ensure that all necessary sales-related needs for the company are being met

Position Requirements:

  • Must be detail oriented with an ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines, while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills to engage with high-end clients, and collaborate with team members to achieve objectives.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule with non-traditional hours (nights and weekends).
  • Must have strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Access).

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous Sales experience in the Special Events Industry with large-scale events and high-end clients in the NYC area.
  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in related field.

Video Production Manager

The New York office of Frost Productions is seeking a highly-motivated and experienced Video Production Manager, based in the Tri-State area (New York, New Jersey and Connecticut).

The Video Production Manager is responsible for managing the overall Video operations of Frost Productions. This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities in the field, office and shop. The Video Production Manager works closely with clients and all of Frost’s internal teams (Accounts, Production, Operations and Warehouse) in an effort to achieve the successful design and implementation of all video jobs. Management of the video staff (hiring, scheduling & evaluations) and the video inventory (gear turn arounds, rentals & purchasing) to maximize efficiencies is a key priority, while staying on top of the ever-changing demands of a fast-paced schedule is integral to achieving success at this position.

Salary Range: $90,000+; commensurate with experience.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Accounts team and clients to efficiently finalize proposals and budgets in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for the overall design and specification of video systems for all events requiring video services.
  • Draft video systems in Vectorworks and coordinate with production managers to integrate with master job drawings.
  • Provide on-site video staff with clear technical documents for each event, such as drawings, signal-flow diagrams, ROS to ensure that the proper quality of service is met on all video jobs.
  • Coordinate with Accounts and Production to advance all content needs with the external production teams.
  • Coordinate with the Audio Services Manager on any required A/V integration needs in the field.
  • Manage the scheduling process for the Video team, in coordination with the Scheduling team.
  • Regularly visit event sites to observe and evaluate staff, and system performance.
  • Manage the video inventory (gear turn arounds, rentals and repairs) with appropriate Warehouse staff.
  • Coordinate with the Operations team to review résumé’s, and conduct job interviews for video staff.

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of live video experience (Special Events, Corporate, Theatrical) with a minimum of 2 of those years in a managerial role.
    Advanced knowledge in the concepts of video engineering.
  • Multi-Output Systems design, including systems driven by media servers feeding a combination of projection, LED and/or TV destinations (Hippotizer, Watchout).
  • Advanced skills in Video switching and signal distribution equipment (Analog Way Systems).
  • Basic video post-production skills (Premiere, After Effects).
  • Proficiency with standard video-related software such as, but not limited to: Playback Pro, Qlab, Resolume, Working knowledge of video-related rigging gear and practices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as organization and time-management skills.
  • Availability and willingness to work extended hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and be on call, as necessary.
  • Punctuality, professionalism, and a positive, collaborative attitude when working with clients and co-workers.
  • Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Any video-related certifications are a plus, especially any related to the above mentioned manufacturers.

Video Shop Technician

The New York office of Frost Productions is seeking a self-motivated and detailed-oriented Video Shop Technician who is based in the Tri-State area (New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut) to work in our warehouse located in Moonachie, New Jersey on a full-time basis.

The Video Shop Technician is responsible for the quality control and coordination of all video gear movements at our warehouse. They will need to work independently to fulfill the primary responsibilities of this position as listed below, while also working closely with the Warehouse Manager, Warehouse staff, and the Video Services Manager to achieve overall success.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Pull and pack gear efficiently as listed on load sheets and effectively use trunk space
  • Check in LED panels, processors, hardware, and return gear with attention to
  • Reset video racks, switchers, kits, and playback devices to standard default
  • Load and test event content on show computers prior to truck
  • Check in cameras and download content from onboard
  • Upload content to the Frost database for distribution and
  • Test, maintain, and repair video equipment as
  • Maintain an organized work space and an accurate inventory of all video
  • Work with warehouse staff to ensure the proper handling and coordination of all gear

Position Requirements:

Automated Lighting Shop Technician

The New York office of Frost Productions is seeking an Automated Lighting Shop Technician who is based in the tri- State area (New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut) to work in our Warehouse located in Moonachie, New Jersey on a full-time basis. The Automated Lighting Shop Technician will be responsible for the quality control and coordination of all gear assigned to this area (moving-light fixtures, wireless LED’s, consoles, and data cables) between the field and our warehouse.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Prep and check-in and out equipment according to shop orders
  • Maintain and repair fixtures and inventory as needed
  • Maintain records on all fixture repairs and inventory as needed
  • Charge and maintain battery-powered LED fixtures
  • Provide phone technical support to field staff as needed

Position Requirements:

  • General stagecraft experience and familiarity with theatrical lighting equipment and consoles
  • Knowledge of electrical and digital control systems
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work nights and weekends, and be on-call as necessary
  • Read load sheets and pull and prepare equipment to be sent into the field
  • Demonstrate initiative and ownership of assigned tasks
  • Punctuality, professionalism, and a positive collaborative attitude when working with clients and co-workers

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of professional entertainment lighting experience or Associates Degree in Entertainment Technology or related field
  • Strong knowledge of entertainment lighting systems

This position involves all phases of construction and finishing for custom, high-quality scenic elements, exhibits, cabinetry, and props.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Work in the Fabrication Shop located in Moonachie, NJ, producing and assembling materials
  • Work at venues throughout the city installing and striking materials as needed
  • Complete construction in a variety of materials including, but not limited to: wood, metal, acrylic, and plastic laminates, in the shop and field as needed
  • Painting, finishing, and graphics handling and application
  • Problem solving through creative interpretation of drawings, renderings, and thumbnails
  • Ensure proper handling and packaging/crating of finished materials in the shop and field at all times
  • Availability and willingness to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, holidays as needed

Position Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in construction and fabrication
  • General knowledge of Scenic Arts, stagecraft, and carpentry
  • Must adhere to all shop safety, PPE, and MSDS protocols
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings/plans and execute those plans accordingly in the shop and field
  • Ability to take a project from start to finish with minimal direction, and meet tight deadlines
  • Experience in the application of wood and scenic finishes
  • Comfortable and experienced using heavy machinery (i.e. boom lifts, forklifts), power tools, and shop machinery

Position Responsibilities:

  • Work with onsite supervisor to ensure safe installation, use, and removal of rigging equipment used during events
  • Hang points for trussing, line arrays, video systems, scenery, and soft goods

  • Operate scissor and boom lifts as needed

Position Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in the event industry

Production Technician

The New York office of Frost Productions is seeking highly-motivated and experienced freelance Production Technicians who are based in the Tri-State area (New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut).


Position Responsibilities:

  • Installation, focus, and strike of theatrical lighting equipment and temporary electrical distribution
  • Unload/load trucks as necessary during load-in/strike
  • Follow direction from onsite leadership team
  • Read and execute drafting and associated paperwork for productions
  • Assist with other production disciplines as necessary (audio, video, rigging, and scenic)

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a stage/event electrician
  • Experience working with conventional, LED, and automated lighting fixtures
  • Working knowledge of basic electrical and rigging safety principles
  • Comfortable working at heights (on ladders and lifts)
  • Experience with temporary electrical power distribution, DMX, and related control signals
