Account Manager

The New York office of Frost Productions is seeking an experienced, ambitious, and outgoing Account Manager who is based in the tri-state area (New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut) to join our Sales team on a full-time basis. This position works exclusively with one of our partner venues. The Account Manager will manage the business relationships of assigned clients at this venue by working with them to identify and achieve the specific needs of their events, collaborating with our internal teams and external vendors to execute their events, and ensuring a smooth sales process throughout the entire cycle of their events.

Compensation Range: Commensurate with Experience / Salaried

Position Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with external vendors, designers, producers, and venue staff to ensure that all necessary parties are communicating and working together to execute flawless events.
  • Attend events to handle client relations and ensure that all the necessary pieces come together so our client’s needs are met, and they are satisfied with the services we have provided.
  • Collaborate with our internal teams to create budgets, design solutions, and produce events; including acquiring insurance, permits, and rentals and purchasing information.
  • Attend client meetings and walkthroughs.
  • Determine budgetary limitations and potentials, and produce sales proposals accordingly.
  • Attend Sales meetings to discuss upcoming work, past events, industry trends, etc., and collaborate as a member of the team to ensure that all necessary sales-related needs for the company are being met.

Position Requirements:

  • Attention to detail with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines, while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to engage with high-end clients, and collaborate with team members to achieve objectives.
  • Ability to work in high-end luxury hotels providing five star, five diamond service and attention.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule with non-traditional hours (nights and weekends)
  • Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Access).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous Sales experience in the Special Events Industry with large-scale events and high-end clients in the NYC area.
  • Background in Theater or live production.
  • Bachelors or advanced degree in related field (or equivalent real life experience).
  • Eclectic interest in, and knowledge of, full-service event production.
  • Extraordinary energy, drive, and an ability to be self-sufficient.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PC software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and Power Point.
